According to The 33rd Team, the Indianapolis Colts will be traveling the 3rd least amount of total miles during the 2024 regular season:
In addition to the AFC South, the Colts take on the members of the AFC East and NFC North for the bulk of the season, so it makes sense why Indianapolis may not be exactly racking up the frequent flyer miles in 2024—as the team doesn’t have to venture much west of the Mississippi River, aside from its annual trip to Houston, as well as a road game against the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos respectively.
If you’re a big believer in the effects of ‘jet lag,’ than obviously this is the article for you. If you’re not, well, congrats, you’ve made it this far!
For what it’s worth, the Colts traveled the 11th fewest miles last year, as the team took on the NFC South and AFC North—so this year, figures to be even more favorable (again, if you believe this matters). The Colts really didn’t have to travel all that much either, but a lone trip to Frankfort, Germany, in Week 10 did keep the ‘flight odometer’ running for quite a while.
The Colts have no such international game this year, meaning Indianapolis is set to fly even less miles than a season ago. Thank you for reading and happy flying!
