Micah Parsons added to Cowboys injury report with illness ahead of SNF vs Eagles

Before the Dallas Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles tonight, Micah Parsons was added to the injury report with an illness. While he was an addition to the report, he is expected to play in the NFL Sunday Night Football game.

Micah Parsons added to Cowboys injury report with illness ahead of SNF vs Eagles

Micah Parsons gives this Cowboys defense life. He’s one of the most exciting defensive players in the league. The linebacker will be integral to a Cowboys win if they are able to take down the Eagles.

The news that Parsons was added to the injury report came out earlier today. It will be interesting to see if Parsons is able to find the same edge he has each week while dealing with the illness.

Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network reported the news.

Micah Parsons at just 24-years-old is a fan favorite on defense. His play style is explosive and mean and he’s usually going to give you a couple of highlights a game. Just one of those rare linebackers in the NFL that embodies what it means to be a linebackers.

Even if Parsons were 100%, tonight’s game would be anything but easy.

Micah Parsons ill for second Eagles game

Tonight is the second time this season that Philly and Dallas are meeting up. In the first edition of the game, the Eagles won 28-23. In that game, Parsons had 1.5 sacks and 5 tackles in the game.

While Dallas has been good, Philly has been great. Jalen Hurts and the Birds are just having another season of excellent play. That first game saw Hurts go for 207 yards in the air and two touchdowns. He also added 36 yards with his legs and another score.

Even with a massive performance of 374 passing yards from Dak Prescott, Dallas came up short. They will need another big performance from him tonight if they have any chance of competing against one of the NFL’s best in the Eagles.

I’m sure Micah Parsons will be just fine. Still, something to keep an eye on if he does come out flat tonight.
