The Green Bay Packers are doing whatever it takes to ensure their playoff chances stay in tact. Sitting at 6-6, the Packers control their own destiny to the post-season. That is extremely impressive given their 3-6 start.
On Monday Night the Packers will take on the 4-8 New York Giants. In order to keep a competitive edge, the Packers decided to add a veteran running back to their roster.
The Green Bay Packers Elevate Running Back Kenyan Drake To The Active Roster For Their Monday Night Showdown With The New York Giants
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network broke the news:

The 29-year-old Kenyan Drake has been in the NFL since 2016. He has played for the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, and Baltimore Ravens during his NFL career. Since the beginning of the season, he has played for several teams, including the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens (twice), and Cleveland Browns.
Aaron Jones is expected to miss a third consecutive game with a knee injury, so the Packers selected Drake over rookie Ellis Merriweather as the No. 3 back behind AJ Dillon and Patrick Taylor.
