The Green Bay Packers’ defense had an abysmal performance against third-string quarterback Tommy DeVito of the New York Giants. While no game in the NFL is guaranteed, based on the way the Packers have played over three weeks many figured they would be in control all night. That clearly wasn’t the case. The defense allowed Tommy DiVito to move the ball up and down the field (especially via quarterback runs) all afternoon.
The performance allowed the Giants to score 24 points, including the game winning drive that led to a field goal with no time remaining. With Joe Barry’s seat hotter than ever, these are the top five replacements Green Bay could target.

Under the leadership of head coach Frank Reich, Evero was hired by the Carolina Panthers on 5 February 2023 as their defensive coordinator. However, given the Panthers’ 1-12 start, there will likely be numerous changes within the organization. Evero has been linked to the Packers many times in the past, this off-season the Packers should make a splash move on the defensive coaching side of the ball. Evero would fit that type of move.
