Texans’ Stefon Diggs goes viral over insane workout session

The Houston Texans have had an amazing 2024 offseason. One of the team’s biggest moves of the offseason was acquiring former Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Diggs is one of the most productive receivers in the league, and he is already turning heads with an off-season workout video.

Diggs was spotted working out with a trainer and was doing pushups with three weighted plates on his back, via his X video:

Stefon Diggs is wasting no time preparing himself to play with his new team. If he continues to build strength like this, there will be no stopping him.

Diggs is coming off an impressive tenure with the Buffalo Bills. He started his Bills career in 2020 after five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. His first year in Buffalo was historic. The former Maryland Terrapin amassed a career-high 1,535 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 games. As a result, he earned his first and lone All-Pro honor.

Diggs continued his stout production for three more years and was Buffalo’s top receiver. His tenure did not result in a Super Bowl appearance, but his contributions helped elevate the Bills offense. Now, he will continue his efforts on a growing Houston Texans team.

The Texans struck gold with rising second-year quarterback CJ Stroud. Stroud led Houston to a second-round postseason finish and won the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award. The star QB will have a great target to throw to in Diggs.

The new Stroud-Diggs duo could become one of the best in the NFL. Yet, there is one more key offseason acquisition that helps elevate their squad.

Texans look to keep building after stellar offseason acquisitions

We the big dog': Bengals' Joe Mixon sends message ahead of showdown with Bills

Houston added one of the most serviceable running backs in the league to their roster during the 2024 offseason. The Texans landed ex-Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon in a trade when the team decided to part ways with him.

Mixon was one of Cincinnati’s greatest offensive weapons since the team drafted him in 2017. From day one, Mixon showed great promise. He leapt from 625 yards and 4 touchdowns during his rookie year to 1,168 yards and 8 TDs in his second.

The former Oklahoma Sooner later saw his best season come in 2021. Mixon rushed for 1,205 yards and 13 TDs in 16 games played. In addition, he earned his first and lone Pro Bowl selection. Ironically, Mixon’s best year was the same year the Bengals advanced to Super Bowl 56.

Mixon now comes off a season where he played a career-high 17 games, amassing 1,034 rushing yards and nine TDs. The coveted RB adds a great dynamic to Houston’s offense alongside CJ Stroud and Stefon Diggs.

Of course, the Texans must also keep their defense stout to continue competing with high-level teams. That is why the team added former Vikings linebacker Danielle Hunter during the 2024 NFL free agency period.

Hunter is a multi-time Pro Bowler who comes off a season with totals of 83 tackles, 16.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles, the latter two of which were top-five NFL rankings. Hunter and Houston’s other defensive contributors will work to resist the league’s talented offenses.

All in all, the Texans look to be in a good position following their 2024 NFL Wild Card appearance. Can the revamped squad mesh and make a massive jump in the AFC?
