Commanders Hall of Famer Darrell Green shows off shocking speed at 64 years old

From 1983 until 2002, Darrell Green was a mainstay for the Washington Commanders. The 5’9″, 184-pound cornerback was one of the fastest men to ever play in the NFL, but he was more than just a speedy presence. The NFL Hall of Famer totaled 54 interceptions and played until he was 42 years old.

His blend of athleticism, technique, and activity in the run game made him a priority to be game-planned against. He was an All-Decade Team member for good reason. Former NFL great and current Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders marveled at his speed, saying he made everyone else look slow.

Well, at 64 years old, Green still has what made him special. Earlier this week, a video emerged of Green training, and he still has the wheels and clean footwork that made him so effective in the NFL. Check out what the man called “Mr. Redskin” can still do.

What we’d give to be able to see an all-time NFL speedster race with Green, Tyreek Hill, and Randy Moss.
