Titans reveal jersey numbers for 2024 NFL Draft class

The Tennessee Titans revealed the jersey numbers for the 2024 NFL Draft rookie class. First-round pick JC Latham will wear No. 55, according to Jim Wyatt. Latham is just the second offensive linemen to wear #55 in franchise history since interior offensive linemen Jim Flannery wore it for the Houston Oilers in the early 1990s. Aaron Brewer was the latest.

Defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat will wear No. 93. Teair Tart wore that jersey number for the Titans last season. Hopefully Sweat has a better attitude and approach for the Titans than Tart did!

Fourth-round linebacker Cedric Gray will wear No. 51. Gray is a candidate to be a three-down starter for the Titans defense throughout the 2024 campaign. David Long Jr. and Will Compton were the latest linebackers to wear 51 for the Titans.

Cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. will wear No. 29 in the defensive backfield. Josh Thompson, Dane Cruikshank and DeMarco Murray were the latest Titans to don #29. Legendary Houston Oilers safety Ken Houston wore 29 in the late 1960s.

Wide receiver/special teams returner Jha’Quan Jackson will wear No. 19. Chris Cooley, Josh Gordon, and Tajae Sharpe were the latest receivers to rock that number. Other Nos. 19 in franchise history include Drew Bennett, Bobby Wade, and Justin McCareins.

Safety-turned-linebacker James Williams will wear No. 52. It’s been a while since a full-time Titans linebacker wore 52 with Aaron Wallace (2016-18) being the latest. Joe Schobert momentarily wore it in 2022. Ryan Fowler and Colin McCarthy are others.

Outside linebacker Jaylen Harrell will wear No. 92 for the Titans. Kevin Dodd, Ola Adeniyi, and Matt Dickerson were the latest defensive linemen to wear 92 for the Titans.
